Magnolia Verandah's Cook Books

Don't you just love looking through peoples homes - I do - they fascinate me and nothing fascinates me more than their kitchens and the cookbooks it might house. I must admit I have a few myself and my collection doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon. In fact even the monthly book sale at our local library finds me heading straight to the cooking section (as it did this morning) and then I sneak it into the house like a forbidden purchase, before I get the "What on earth do you want that for" look from the man! Mind you on occasion he has been known to bring home the latest cookery book as a gift or when he wants to get into the "good books"!

They are even tucked into the alcoves beside the fireplace

Let's not forget the mag subscriptions
This morning's $1 purchase

What do your cookbooks look like?

  1. I love your bookcase. I love how you have underlights. It looks gorgeous. You have so many cookbooks but then again, I'm also guilty. Mine are in the hallway in a bookshelf that's not as stunning as yours. I'd like to get a new kitchen and have some open shelves where I can stash my favourite cookbooks xx

  7. Wow you have so many and they are so organised. Amazing collection. I'm trying to spot which ones I have. Like you I've been using the library recently as space is getting minimal and I'm trying to declutter a little.

Thanks for letting us peek into your stash.

  13. What a wonderful way to display all your books, they are obviously very well looked after.

It looks amazing. Isn't this a lovely way to get to know everyone from Random Recipes and their taste in books and how they display them at home.
